Will Smith Bitch Slaps Chris Rock
He was not standing up for his wife
Slapping a comedian on live television in front of millions is rare.
It’s something that may have never been done before. It might be something that we never see again.
I read on Twitter some people were defending Will Smith saying that he was in the right to “stand up” for his wife.
Chris Rock did make a joke about his wife, after all, isn’t the masculine thing to do is be aggressive?
Will Smith and his wife are in an open relationship. They both openly see and have sex with other people.
They have agreed to these terms and have been living by them for some time now. Whatever floats your boat.
Will Smith is also shown initially laughing at the G.I Jane joke before storming the stage. It doesn't make sense to first laugh at the joke and then storm the stage like a badass and assault someone.
I think what really happened is that Will Smith’s ego came up and all the shame and embarrassment from being in an open relationship came to light.
As a result, he let his emotions get the best of him and slapped Chris Rock.
The thing is, why would you care if someone made a joke about your wife at a show where people are teased but have no problem with her sleeping with other people.
Less than an hour later, he accepted his award and cried on stage.
I don’t understand why some people seem to think that it’s acceptable behavior.
I’ll keep this short and sweet.
The moral of the story is, don’t be in an open relationship if you still have feelings for your significant other.
